Challenge yourself to not think a negative thought for an hour.. Then two hours.. Then try a day. You will feel a sigh of relief lift off your shoulders.
2. Go to sleep earlier
The earlier you go to sleep, the earlier you will wake up & the more time in the daylight you will have to make your dreams come true.
3. Make & eat a healthy breakfast
Cut out the starches & artificial sweeteners & try some lean protein, fresh fruit, & raw veggies. You'll feel energized all day long!
4. Find time in the day to dig deep into your soul
Sit down and take 15 minutes to breath, close your eyes, and just let everything be. Let whatever is going to be, be... & be okay with it.
5. Take a walk and smile at strangers
Wanna know the easiest way to have a good day? Help others have a good day.
6. Release your thoughts
Get a journal & write everything down! You can even use the notes in your phone if it is more convenient for you. Try your hardest to write down everything that happens. Lunch dates, random acts of kindness, workouts, and even your meals. This will also help with your time management.
7. Literally stop and smell the roses
Watch the ants walk in the line to their colony. Watch the clouds pass by in the sky. Listen for the birds & insects outside. Listen to the different noises the buttons on your dial pad make. It's amazing what you will notice when you are paying attention to the details. No detail is ever too small!
8. Call a friend
Old or new. Call someone and make plans. Tell an old joke that used to make you laugh. Tell new stories & catch up on what has been going on. You never know who could actually use your call today.
9. Declutter your room
This is your personal space. Make it you, make it worth the stay. Clean out everything & only keep the things that are still of use to you. If you haven't worn it in 2 years.... You probably never will. One mans trash is another mans treasure, let someone else get the use out of it.
10. Take a hot bubble bath
Soak in a nice hot bath, with the lights low or off, light a candle, & either read a book or just simple close your eyes. Enjoy the down time- you will never be able to capture this moment again.
11. Get moving
Exercise is the best way to feel good and smile. I mean what is not to love? Knowing you worked your little booty off... AND you get an amazing award! A HOT BOD!
12. Turn your dreams into plans
Take the time out to do one small thing towards your long term goal. You should always have daily, short term, & long term goals that to should try everyday to move closer to.
13. Raise that metabolism
No this isn't something else about food- it's about WATER! You'd actually be surprised.. Those sodas, iced coffees, & energy drinks are actually not going to give you as much energy as water will. Believe that water is the best thing you can drink, because it is. Help your body out a little- it does so much for you.
14. Get up, dress up, & show up
We've all heard this before, but honestly- what better way to tackle the day than to feel good about yourself? Floss, use the whitening toothpaste, wear your favorite earrings, put on a new necklace. Smile every time you look in the mirror, because you deserve it.
