I woke up a lot earlier than I needed to today. I feel great. I am wide awake now! I am just laying down with Bubba now. He woke me up around 5:30 because he was hungry, then I never really fell back asleep. But no worries- today is going to be a good day! Everyday is a good day.
What is stress? Well it is defined as emotional or mental strain. Stress can really take a toll on people too. I learned a lot about stress in biology. But, stress is not always a negative term. You can be under a positive stress as well. What if you won the lottery? You would be really excited and your heart rate would go up.. So technically there are two types of stresses.
There are so many ways to deal with stress. Going to your 'happy place', listening to music, watching a movie, exercising, studying, going for a long walk, talking to a friend, baking. You can do a lot of things to relieve stress/get your mind off of stress.
But-
There is only one way to rid stress. understand what is stressing you out, and take care of it. You can deny stress for a long time, maybe even your entire life. But where does that get you? Can you put a genuine smile on your face? Can you say 'I have a free mind' and be truthful about it?
Making decisions and taking action can be difficult sometimes- believe me, I know. But if it is going to better you as a person, why wouldn't you do it? If something is constantly on your mind, eating you alive, something needs to change. Action needs to be taken. Don't be afraid to take the next step you your happy life. Everything has a purpose in this life... It just may not have a purpose to you.
Take a stand in your life. Do what makes you feel good. Push yourself to be the best version of you possible. Stand up for what you believe in. Don't back down to others.
Just. Be. You.

Call or text a friend or family member whom you have not spoken to in a while. Bring up old memories, plan to see each other. Even if you can't follow through, keep trying. Rekindle an old relationship today.
