I've been super busy recently- and I have some down time now at work so I can post a little something!
So I had a biology test last week and unfortunately on part I got a C and the other part I got a B. If brought my grade down 2 points... So now I am sitting at an 84. I'm hoping I can bring it up an A with the last bit I have. I only have 2 weeks of class left! Well... One week of class & the following week is exams! It's crazy.
This week & next is going to be crazy for me. I won't have a social life.
Why you ask?
BECAUSE I SIGNED UP FOR YHE SPARTAN RUN! I am going the sprint spartan run in DC on July 26 with my best friend Shelby & my lovely boyfriend Michael. I am going to train my little booty off. I want to really impress during this race, I want to prove to myself that I can so this.
It is a 3+ miles with 15+ obstacles.
And the best part...
IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE!
So since I already signed up, I have no choice but to follow through! I am going to make a new tab on here & post my weekly workouts & also post my log.
My goal is to get my mile time under 7 minutes. I already wrote up my workouts for this upcoming week & with finals & work everyday.. It's gonna be a crazy week for me. I have two bootycalls this week. One on Tuesday & one on Thursday.
If you don't know what a bootycall is go to Tone it up! & they will have all the information there! It's basically setting your alarm early in the morning & doing morning cardio.
On top of training for the spartan race... I am ALSO doing the Bikini Series by my talk lovely trainers at Tone It Up. It's a series that gets you 100% ready for summer. I'm so excited. There is no turning back to my unhealthy habits from here on out. I am going to shock myself with the results I get!
Tomorrow I plan on meal prepping after I go to the gym. I am excited to start things off today. I actually have gotten a few different people into the thought of doing the race! I am so excited about this!
Anyways- things are going really well right now. Sometimes busy is a good thing! My paychecks are beautiful right now, relationships are stronger than ever, and my mind is also clearer than ever. I have my goals set and stone, and I can see everything so clearly. It is true, when you take a step back from things, you can really see the reality of things.
Haven't posted a challenge in a while.. so I will post it and most likely it will have to get done tomorrow because it is nine thirty!
